The Pack

the-pack.jpgThe members of The Pack are from Berkeley, CA, where the Bay Area “hyphy” movement was taking over the North West coast’s rap scene. Fueled by their radio hit, “Van”, The Pack might be the ones who take the “hyphy” movement worldwide. With the anticipated release of The Pack’s debut album, the prolific youngEast Bay rap quartet, with members Lil Uno, Young L, Lil B, & Stunna who ages range from 16 to 18, looks like they are on the path to rap stardom.

The group, formally known as Wolf Pack, were together on six months when they recorded their hit “Vans”. Too $hort, a Bay Area rap verteran recognized their potential and was also most impressed with their work ethic, so he offered to take them under his wing, and sign them to his new Up All Nite record label/collective. Since then things have moved swiftly for The Pack with them doing lots of shows (including a big one at Kaiser Auditorium with such stars as E 40) and busily recording new tracks (solo and collaborations) in both the East Bay and Atlanta. They have just released their first main stream album, “SKATEBOARDS 2 SCRAPERS”.
